I don't know what the deal with my sister is. When she accused me of stealing mom's money and was proved wrong, I didn't even say anything to her about it. I even communicated with her about moms move to the nursing home. After she blamed me when she lost the cat and said disparaging things about me and my family in text messages, I texted her back

You're right on target. Neither your sister nor your mother have any right to abuse you or accuse you. And you have every right to avoid them when they aren't treating you right.
