Moms sick again. My sister stayed Friday and mom was talking out of her head and didn't let her sleep all night and basically drove Sue crazy. Sue doesn't do much of the care giving and didn't really know that her behavior wasn't typical. When I came in I realized mom had a fever. That was at 10 am. Last night I stayed over at moms all night. She was in a lot of pain and could barely get up or even hold her juice bottle. She was also talking nonsense and asking me the same questions over and over. Today her cognition seems better and she isn't in so much pain, but she is still having trouble transferring to her power chair or her bedside ( Read more... ) -
Robyn is pregnant!
Robyn is pregnant. There I said it. I have known for over a week but for some reason couldn't journal it. It is such an important announcement that there should be trumpets or something. I'm going to love being a grandma. I'm already thinking about how I will rearrange my furniture so I can get a porta crib. She is about six weeks along. She hasn't ( Read more... ) -
Mom sprung from nursing home
Mom got to go home from the nursing home Friday. She is doing better than expected and is very happy to be home. I'm staying with her at her house. I'm very unhappy staying away from my home and Charlie. I'm in a pretty dark place right now , so most of my posts I making private.(Yes the juicy ones I keep to myself.) I am depressed and anxious. Medical Message School
Tomorrow is Robyn's first day of school. She is going to medical message school. She is very excited and nervous. She is afraid of having a panic attack. I think she'll be fine once she gets there. I will be taking her at 8am. I guess Wes can pick her up. She'll be going Tuesday's and Thursday's for nine months. I think 6 or eight hour days. She's ( Read more... ) -

Late visit
Before I went to bed last night I went to see mom again at the home. It was 1am and the doors were locked. I called them and they let me in. They probably don't get many visitors at that time of day but, I wanted to be sure that mom wasn't freaking out like she was doing in the hospital, and that she was getting her pain pills. nursing home arrival
Mom got transferred from the hospital to the nursing home today to start her rehabilitation. I really don't know how she can rehabilitate when they haven't really fixed what is wrong, but they didn't want to release her to go home yet.
