There are children standing here,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
Tears drying on their face.
He has been here.
Brothers lie in shallow graves.
Fathers lost without a trace.
A nation blind to their disgrace,
Since he's been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes anymore.
Only sadness.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes any more
Only sadness....only sadness
Houses burnt beyond repair.
The smell of death is in the air.
A woman weeping in despair says,
He has been here.
Tracer lighting up the sky.
It's another families turn, to die.
A child afraid to even cry out says,
He has been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes anymore.
Only sadness
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes any more
Only sadness.....only sadness
There are children standing here,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
But no one asks the question why,
He has been here.
Old men kneel to accept their fate.
Wives and daughters cut and raped.
A generation drenched in hate.
Says he has been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes anymore.
Only sadness.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes any more...
anymore
And I see no bravery,
No bravery,
In your eyes any more,
only sadness...only sadness.

You could be from Venus
I could be from Mars
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
You could live in the sea
And I could be a bird
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
If you were an illusion
I would make it real
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
If you walk in the sun
I would be your shadow
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
ugggg...at 3:30pm, i'm off to writing...i wish i could take a break for a while and let things magically take care of themselves...i'm a tad tired and a little fragmented for some reason...
and fucking confused as to what the hell is going on with the weather up here...it was cold yesterday...now it's hot. 'tevs...
i am forever waiting for this quarter to be over. the time when i don't have to write papers or read random pieces of text or draw random pictures.
everything today reminds me of highschool...for no reason. Second stage smelled like chs theatre during the summer show...which took me back to the days of annie and bye bye birdie...those insecently random days, back when the only things i had to do were make random entrances that were awesome in how small they were, and yet so detailed. that's what i was back then. Detail...ughhhhhhhhh...
anyway...the power went out for a while all over campus today so we moved 60c to the glen...and sat in the middle of the forest and that reminded me of Bravo, when Greg would take us out to the forest to do voice for the actor...or story telling classes with Mark Lewis or performance art with Corky. The good times, before i started to feel like i didn't belong there either...
school will be over soon. and then i can relax my mind and stick to the things that really matter at this point, making money with mindless labor and going to disneyland...;)
must. not. let. brain. shut. down. just. yet.
talk to me...i promise i won't bight...this means you.
