[At first, you all hear an irritated voice all over the network.]

--Hey, get off! What's the matter with this thing? [And then more angry grumbling and the sound of someone pulling something (however that may sound). After a while of just irritated grunting, the voice function switches to video

T-Ted, are you...Is everything all right?

[startraveling]

[At Gremio's voice, Ted grins lopsidedly, still trying to shake off the annoying device.] Yeah, everything's fine. It's just this irritating little thing that won't-- It's not a big deal.

[Gremio just blinks and scratches his cheek.] Oh, is it broken?

[startraveling]

[Ted sighs, looking down at his device.] Don't think so. I mean... I can still talk to you through it. I guess it's just- stuck in my hand.

[axeofoath]

It's--it's stuck?! You didn't spill something on it, did you?

[startraveling]

No, I'm pretty sure I didn't. [He groans just a bit.] My hand was clear when I took it.

[axeofoath]

[Gremio is perplexed! The idea of a curse doesn't cross his mind.] But--then, how?

[startraveling]

Well, the only explanation I have for this is that it's a curse. [He doesn't think solid metal contraptions will stick to a person's hand however sweaty it is. Not that his hand is sweaty.]

[axeofoath]

Oh, that's right--But that seems rather odd for a curse, doesn't it?

[startraveling]

Aren't most curses usually this odd?

[axeofoath]

Well, yes...but a curse that makes your device stick to your hand?

Well, I'm sure it has more to it. Every curse--

[startraveling]

[And when Ted tries to grab the nearest tree branch to help get the device off, the branch sticks to him too.]

--has a catch to it... And I think this is it.

[axeofoath]

Catch? Is something-

[It takes him a second to realize Ted isn't just holding on to that branch, and then the fretting sets in. This is something to fret about, somehow!]

Ted, i-is that also stuck to you?!

[startraveling]

Er, yeah... [Ted shakes off the hand "holding" the branch and the said branch seems glued into place. Grumbling, he sighs when it won't come off.] Guess this is the curse for today. Hope you're not having the same problems, Gremio?

[axeofoath]

O-oh, no, I seem to be all right...[He says it vaguely. This is entirely too bizarre for him.]

I suppose you had best be careful not to touch anything.
