[ I completely missed this theme    yay for free for all! xD ]

Link to original stamp: [ x ]

Name: Gwyn

Do you have a gender preference for this theme?
Well, I suppose it really doesn't matter. I can go either way. But for fun let's say male.

YOURSELF

Strengths:
Loyal, Creative, Honest, Funny, Emotional, Intelligent, Curious
Weaknesses:
Procrastinator, Oblivious, Naive, Emotional, Stoic,

What do people say they like about you?
I tend to make friends pretty easily. I'm good at making people laugh even if it is sorta unintentional.
What do people say they find irritating about you?
I can be a little too immature.

What characteristics attract you to a person?
Personality for the most part. But of course, I do also have to be somewhat attracted to the person in a physical sense as well.
What characteristics do you dislike in a person?
I can't really like someone if we don't share at least some of the same interests. Plus, they have to be a halfway decent person... I couldn't see myself with someone who is a jerk.

And now for a very open-ended question. What is love?
I suppose it depends on who you are asking. The word itself has many meanings, and as such also means something different to the person who is trying to describe it. But since it is directed to me... I guess the best way to explain it is with a quote: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love, and to be loved in return."

THE MATCH
Is he/she...(explain if you'd like, it's not always black and white, so gray is allowed)

Serious or playful?
Considering my already immature nature, I'd say I'd need someone who is a bit more serious... though does have somewhat of a playful side to him.
Quiet or talkative?
Not too talkative. I do enjoy my own quiet time whenever I'm working or researching or just doing my own thing but it would be nice to have a good conversation every now and then.
Leader or follower?
My star signs labels me to be a natural leader, which is true with my group of friends. So I'd like another leader type person, though maybe not so much... I'd hate for us to get into some kinda power struggle.
Kind-hearted or tough-minded?
Kind hearted for the most part, but he can have some touch minded qualities as well.
Dominant or submissive?
Oh dear... I'm quite submissive myself, so I'd probably need someone who is a bit more dominate... though... not too dominate, of course.
Traditional or unconventional?
I tend to like some traditions, but I do enjoy unconventional behavior to mix things up a bit.
Planned or improvised?
I plan everything. I make lists. I organize. I keep everyone in check. I'd like to have someone to be somewhat as up to par as myself, but I could always take some pointers from some improvisation.
Controlled or impulsive?
I can be pretty impulsive. For the most part I see myself rather controlled but we all have our vices and I can lose myself if the situation calls for it. I'd like to have someone more controlled to maybe even me out a bit.
Calm or energetic?
A little energetic, but please not so much. I'm bad enough as it is, I'd much rather have someone calm.
Optimistic or pessimistic?
I can be kinda pessimistic from time to time but I do tend to look on the brighter side more often then not. I really wouldn't want someones mood dragging me down.
Realistic or idealistic?
I tend to think more realistically with a slight dash of idealism. I'd expect the same in my significant other.
Secretive or open?
We all have our secrets, I can understand this, but you do need to be open to an extent to have a working relationship.
Mature or immature?
Leave the immaturity to me. Trust me, I got us both covered. I'd rather have someone around thats at least a little more mature then myself.
Compassionate or just?
I suppose a bit of both.
Confident or modest?
Everyone likes confidence, but not a show off.
Outgoing or shy?
I'd like someone to be more outgoing, its no fun if they're too shy to do new things or meet new people.

THE RELATIONSHIP

What's your ideal first date?
I suppose something simple. It really doesn't matter to me, spenidng time with the person and getting to know them is what truly matters. Maybe talking over coffee or tea, watching a movie or something.

Describe your dream house.
I'd say a place with a fairly moderate weather conditions. Not too hot, not too cold. Maybe by the water or something, I love the water. And not so many people, like kinda out in the country or something like that along a coast line. Not a real big house, but still a good size. With a library.

What's one thing that's absolutely necessary in a healthy relationship?
I'll agree and say that you need trust and honesty, but its much more then that. You'll need understanding. You'll have to be able to compromise to a certain degree, especially if you plan to make this relationship a long one.

IN STAR TREK

If you couldn't date a human for some strange, odd reason, which species (Vulcan, Klingon, Romulan, Borg, Ferengi, etc) would you choose to date instead and why?
Hm, I'd probably have to say Vulcan. I like intelligence, and you can guarantee they would make for a great conversationalist if the mood strike them. You'd never really have to worry if they are lying to you, they arn't hostile, and well... they're an attractive race. I could also say Romulan, but they do have a bit of a mean streak and can tend to be just as manipulative as a Ferengi if need be. Klingons just kinda scare the crap outta me... and well... Borg are Borg, if you somehow manage to date one of them you're technically dating the entire collective.

If given the chance to live anywhere in the universe, what sort of planet would you live on?
Something Earth-ish. Not so much Earth itself, I'd like to be able to travel around the universe. But in order for me to be comfortable, i'd have to find a place that I am a little familiar with at least.

What are some of your favorite pairings in Star Trek and why are you a fan of them?
Kirk/Spock - No, not for the typical reasons, hush your mouth. Its just that this particular relationship reminds me of my best friend and myself. Its an award relationship, it tend to be a little too close for some others comfort and can easily be uh... miscontrued for something sexual.
Kirk/Bones - They're best friends, and they're just hilarious together.
Q/Picard - Probably one of my abolute favorite uh 'couples' I guess you can say. I just like watching Q press Picards buttons.
Picard/Crusher - They have a sweet relationship. I just like the two of them together.
Riker/Troi - I honestly see them as more of a 'friends with benefits' kinda couple to be honest with you... I mean really... Friends don't cuddle! Friends don't randomly hold hands, or give little kisses ont he cheek, or suddenly get jealous if the other has a romantic interest.
Geordi/Data - Ok so pretty much Geordi and like, anyone. He is the ultimate best friend, he just makes friends with anyone. But these two are amazing together, I like the chemistry.

For my own amusement, make up a Star Trek-esque pickup line. Really. Give it a try.
... are you serious?
"My blood isn't the only thing thats green."

Though I think Data said it best... "I am fully funtional and programmed in multiple techniques of pleasuring."
