True that it happens in every fandom but I'm only a part of this one currently. Can't believe that I never thought to google it, though so I definitely will. It sincerely mystifies me.

Yeah, it has made me ridiculously happy to find other people who feel like this too in fandom.
But at the same time... sometimes it makes me sad that I won't ever get to live in the 23rd century and get the good medical care and perfect gender transitioning they'll hopefully have by then.

IA so hard. McCoy deserved a much bigger role. I think the fact that he wasn't as prominent ruined the supposed Kirk/Spock dynamic because you need McCoy to round it out properly.

16: Their love was epic indeed. But despite having no one loving me like that, I love seeing pictures of them. It makes me happy to know love like that exists, somehwere.
20: I agree. The movie had flaws, but I remember it fondly. The big trio never got so much shared (!) screentime in any othe other movies.
