Man, there is nothing like losing a huge chunk of writing to a glitch.

I got so much done this morning, was so close to being ready to post this fic, and it's all gone. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last, but damn it I hate this. D:

Nah, it's a post-affair Brison story actually. My usual angst fest lol.

I love Paul, but I don't know how to write him yet, if I ever will. I think he might be too nice to inspire my muse, heh. I'm eagerly waiting for someone else to start writing Paulson fic, but I haven't found any yet.

Ugh, I had that happen once, when I'd literally written the last words to a 100K word epic two hours before the computer went kaput. It was nearly two years before I had the money to get it fixed because I was that broke ten years ago. Hope it works out for ya :)

Yikes! Thank you for sharing that because it put this thing in perspective for me. A handful of paragraphs is nothing compared to 100k!

Man, it still sucks, though....thankfully, there are more save options avaliable today than when that happened to me, so recovery is not as difficult. Hope it gets fixed soon!

In case you were wondering who I am, I found your Bleach KaiRuki AU a few weeks back (which was crazy amazing BTW), and fisted ya for updates, if you're still writing on that one. ;)

The worst thing is that I saved it after every change/addition, trying to prevent this very thing, and the app I was writing on told me it was saved each time, only to reveal afterward that it never actually did. Sigh.

Oh, thank you so much! I love that fic, but it's always a surprise when someone actually reads it lol. So thank you!

Sorry to hear that happened to you.

I have almost the opposite problem. I start writing on my ipad in the bus and it ends up syncing to the cloud, then to all my other devices, then I have to email it to myself to get it on the computer, then I post it on LiveJournal, edit it, then recopy the edited version back on my computer to have my own archival copy, then make another copy because I want to try changing just a couple of things more ... by the end of it I have copies in various stages copied all over all my devices and they are off line, on line, everywhere. Only problem is sometimes I get confused about which is the most recent version and start working on one of the older ones by accident...
