 hello, fellow Star Wars junkies!  I unfortunately do not have anything to share at this moment, though I am working on a new silk screen shirt design for myself (can anyone say Rebel Alliance jacket?).  What I was actually posting here for was because I am in need of some good tutorials or instructions as to how to go about making a decent tusken ( Read more... )

There are templates on The Dented Helmet for making all of Boba Fett:

In my experience, I think $75 for either will be tough, but it depends on how picky you are. If you really want to do it 100%, you'll easily spend $30 - $40 just on paint for the helmet.

But like I said, it all depends on whether you want cardboard or fiberglass, plastic or aluminum, etc... I've seen some fantastic cardboard scratch builds, and I've seen people spend several thousand just on the helmet.

Last halloween I made my son a Master Chief {from Halo} helmet from cardstock! We used the pepakura program and though it took time, it wasn't too hard {my husband took care of the VERY stinky resining.}
