so, on wednesday, 22 june, i left for field training. on monday, 4 july, i left field training. why, you ask? because i dislocated my shoulder on saturday, 2 july. that's right, i hurt myself AGAIN. so i'm home and bored. lemme know if you wanna do something, especially if i can do it with one arm.

today marks the 64th anniversary of the death of Lou Gehrig. He died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, henceforth known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Among other achievements, he set the record of 2,130 consecutive games played, a record that would stand until 1995 when Cal Ripken, Jr. broke it.
