I totally forgot my fucking debit card at the Thai place where I ate the other day. I didn't even notice until last night when I tried to get some food at an Irish pub. I had a huge anxiety attack and it took me over an hour to think of the last place that I had used it ( Read more... )

hehe.. i know how you feel... a return to LJ after so long and no comments... well, i'll say that the chicken thing you posted about getting at the thai place sounded awfully tastey :)

It was super yummy. When I went back, I got the roast duck with chinese broccoli, which apparently means only the stems and leaves, none of the crowns. And the duck wasn't so great. There was a thick layer of skin/fat on it that was kind of gross. And I've gotten so used to eating white meat, that I was a little put off by it being dark. Oh well. Can't always win.

yeah, that chinese brocolli sounds alot like brocolli rabe. Aparently there has been a big spinach recall, so we have been substituting brocolli rabe at the restaurant i work at. Its good stuff, but a little bitter. Yeah, duck is okay,, im not a big dark meat fan either.
