Around my birthday, almost a month ago, I got behind.  I've been behind ever since and haven't even read my flist, much less updated my own LJ.  I just went back, tried to catch up, and after over two hours have made it back less that two weeks, and LJ doesn't want to let be go any farther back.  (It must be a sign from the LJ Gods

I found your LJ because you also have card weaving listed as one of your interests.

Last year I did one issue of a 'zine called The Card Weaver as a curiculum for a series of workshops I was trying to get going in the San Fransisco Bay Area. You can check out the 'zine here: http://zinelibrary.info/card-weaver-1.

I'm actually not that good at it yet, but I can certainly pass the word along.

In the meantime, to you know of oakenking's LJ at http://oakenking.livejournal.com/? -- he mostly is writing about silkworms, bees and chickens at the moment, but he does some beautiful card weaving work. He's also sort of becoming the "go to" guy in the U.S. for silk worm information by default.
