Yo. Lot's wife was better off not looking back at Sodom and I think I might be the same with my past...so, soon, I will be switching LJs, and deleting this one completely. I'd try to not be dramatic, but such is the nature of moving on, unless one wants to slip away without so much as a whisper.

You want to delete all your LJ? You could keep it, just as a way to remember your past, your good and bad times. I mean, life goes on and things change, you can turn a page without deleting your LJ.

This is an interesting proposition. Will you let us know what the new journal is? Cause I'd like to friend you and still read it and stuff - I mean your getting rid of the old one doesn't mean you're getting rid of all of us, does it? Cause if so I'm going to have to STRONGLY object. So strongly that it could come to physical violence and then being a pillar of salt might not sound so bad.

Also, I agree that you might not want to delete it. Sometimes it's really nice to be able to look back and remember good times and see how you've changed. I think you can probably move into the future without forgetting the past. Just something to think about.
