Well Willow is now over 3 weeks old. We just went last night to get life insurance on her so one more thing off my list to do. The last three weeks have really flown by in a, some what sleep deprived blur. I have grateful to our family and friends who have help out over the last 3 weeks I don’t know how we would have made it without them. Willow ( Read more... )

Personally I think it is a slippery slope to allowing that woman to have some say in Willow's raising. And if it were me I'd say "Hell No" Tempest had colic and it sucked ass. I would suggest a white noise generator as well as the swing.

she dosnt have a say in her raising, she just wants Willow to stay the night every now and then, and its more for my grandfather, he acts allot healthier during and after he's been around Willow and it just makes him happy to take care of her..

I stayed with them for weekends all the time... from birth on.. i dont see any difference between her and me stayng with them...

Overnight is one thing, for your grandpa is one thing, but how much say did your grandmother wind up having over your mother since you were there all the time. Not to mention do you realize she is telling people you lived with them. Not that you spent weekends with them every now and then when you were younger, but that you lived with them. She is your child and I will not tell you how to raise her. I will just voice my concerns on the matter.

My mom and I did live with them until i was 4 or 5ish.. whenever she married my stepdad.

she didnt have much say over my mom, she was told by my mom on a consistent basis to fuck off.. still is..

Is it the person or just leaving her with someone? If it is the person, then you need to admit that to both of you and deal with it. If it is leaving her with anyone, it is my two cents that you are being a little too paranoid.

I hope that the colic is not too bad. I hope to be over for the demo to meet Willow.

This is just a suggestion. When my kids were little and they were colicky I would take them on a little drive in the car. After a few blocks they would be out. Good luck with the house hunting.
