i watched requiem for a dream recently and now i'm worried about neglecting my mum. since moving out i dont really see her much.

I LOVE that film. One of my all time favourites. I was exactly the same about my mum. Think I called her daily for a while after that...

yeah, ellen burstyn was so good in that role. actually now that i think about it, i see myself in her. you know, reasons to carry on with life, needing excuses.. except instead of the game show it's things like games and dolls
