I have uploaded several photos of the area I drove through on my road trip Wednesday. I did not take these photos as I do not have a digital camera yet, thus the different seasons. In south Alabama, there is the Gulf of Mexico. So we have mountains in the north, west, and east, rolling hills and forests centrally, flatter and very rich delta-like farmlands called the wiregrass towards the south, and then gleaming snow white beaches and the Gulf. No wonder they call it "Alabama the Beautiful".
