I'm getting a little nervous about Kyrstin coming to visit. As far as I know, she still hates me. I can't tell you how much easier my life would be if she would just come around. The 19 year old I work with likes me and she's so much like Kyrstin.

She didn't like me because I'm with Sam. I'm the first person Sam's been with that she's met. Also, we were at a wedding once and she would not stop being a brat and picking at every little thing. I got fed up and asked her why she was being a brat. She started crying and told everyone I called her a bitch. Ugh.

I didn't make her do anything, I left her alone, and I helped when she needed it without making a big deal out of it.

She just doesn't like me. I can't make her though. I just keep hoping she'll come around. I'm nice.

Eh, yup. She sounds like a spoiled brat. Sigh, just be happy you aren't her in her drama llama world and do your best. Maybe go for lots of bike rides and take Tivs with ya.

Sam said it was just because she was a teenager, needed someone to rebel against, and it wouldn't have worked out well if it was him.

I took a lesson from my friends' step parents and let her do her own thing. I didn't nag her. I helped her when she needed it. I tried without being in her business, but I'm still a woman and she thought I was a rival for her dad's attention.
