messenger bag

WHY??!!??! is picking a messenger bag the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life. seriously. Hardest. Thing. Ever.

and for a quick pole -- should i go with cheap/malliable, or expensive/sturdy/which i may not like but have then spent $50 on it?

After slagging through the same connundrum for months, I ended up going with a cheap/malliable messenger bag that I bought when I was in Germany (so it gets bonus points). I'm not thrilled with it, but it was only €12, it's got sentimental value, and I'm not sweating through this summer in a backpack. It was cheap enough that I wouldn't mind replacing it if I found the perfect $50 bag, but I like it enough to wear it indefinitely waiting for the perfect bag. Why spend $50 on anything that you don't really like?

I agree. Kinda like "If it's not fun- why do it?"

(and my messenger bag was, i think 10 or 15euro, and i got it in Italy! same as Ruthann too- might not last me too long, but it's great for now. and i like it)
