In order to attempt to curb some of these...attacks, I must order that the mechanics shut off power to the ship immediately. It will not solve our problem, or even stop all the attacks, but perhaps it will buy us more time and freedom to get to the root cause.

Does any person on this ship know how to...exorcise a ghost?

filter: silvana, goddammit ship, ooooo it's a ghost

Put out a public request for one, maybe?

We may just have to do that.

If none of the crew possess knowledge of exorcism, we'll be forced to search for an alternative.

Do you think there's a way to speak with the specter? From what I've heard, ghosts are usually attached to the current life because they have a strong desire. If we can find out what it wants, then maybe we can discern a way to abate its wrath.

Otherwise, we could judge the distance from the nearest town and see if someone can head there on foot to locate an exorcist or even a medium.

By the way, Yami's mentioned that the ghost's primary origin seems to be the Claudia Drive. It makes me wonder if our problem would end if we could somehow transfer the engine out of the Silvana.

I am not well versed in the supernatural, so I cannot give a clear answer, but I have heard those things too. There must be a way to communicate with it, but I am unsure of how. We will have to speak with someone more knowledgeable about the subject. It is possible that we will have to go to the nearest town and retrieve outside help.

As for the engine, that may solve our problem, but I would hope that is a last resort. Moving an engine is difficult enough. Moving a possessed one must surely be harder.

Seeing how no one has claimed to wield any skills capable of warding off the ghost yet, should we select a few to head to the nearest town already? The faster we send out someone, the faster they may be able to return with help.

We are not so far from the nearest town. Perhaps we may send a runner to search for some?

It may be our only option at this point, if none of the crew can deal with the ghost.

Perhaps one of the pilots, if the ship has not taken over their planes.

Heh . . . gonna have to leave responding to this to an assumption that an NPC mechanic does so, as Yami's . . . um . . . too occupied to check his journal anymore. I was about to have him answer when I realized he can't. *sweatdrop* XD;;;
