We're glad to hear that you're mostly ok. Take it easy for the next few days though- if you're anything like me after my big wreck you won't even begin to hit your peak of soreness/bruising for at least two days.

Thanks. It's just all surreal right now; I haven't been able to sleep at all. I wish I could just forget about it, but there's so much I have to do now.

Yeah, I know the feeling. It's pretty bizarre when it happens.

I was trying to explain to the police what happened, but I realized that I couldn't explain it. It just happened so fast I didn't even know.

At this point I'm just worried about the car and the insurance stuff. I know there's going to be a lot of long term reciprocations I'll have do deal with.

I'm glad to hear you're okay, too. I don't have any good insurance advice - I had to pay when my car was stolen, rather than being paid by the insurance company. But if there's anything I can do...

I too am glad you are ok. Just remember that even if you have to pay out (or owe) a bunch of money, it is a small price to pay compared to what could have happened to you. Try to be happy that you are still here with us, and that nobody else got hurt. Things will straighten out with time, and SF has great public transportation.
I can't think of anything I could do for you since we are so far away, but please don't hesitate if you need something.
All my love.

well, here's a consolation *sort of* Jon got sideswiped by a senior citizen last weekend (Saturday) while he was moving, so not only did his car get totaled, but all of his possessions were in there, too.

I love all old people and think that instead of Medicare, we should have a Senior Citizen Chauffer program. It really would cut down on so many accident related injuries in the octogenarian age bracket.
