And it's only been 20 years in the making! No wonder Kripke's so big about sticking to the plan.

According to spn_gossip (my new crack), he was up for the role of Captain Kirk but for some reason didn't get it. I remember someone talking about it once back in the day. They're saying he couldn't do it for time reasons, it conflicted with SPN, but who knows.

...though if that's the case, it sucks out loud.

YOU KNOW SHE IS!!!! I'd totally say she was Lucifer if I didn't think Cas/Uriel would have recognized/known her. But really? An angel who can banish angels and a demon who can banish demons? BOTH ARE SUSPECT IN MY BOOK.

And I know I KNOW!! I WISH IT WERE THURSDAY AGAIN! WHY IS IT NOT THURSDAY?!

This episode blew my mind for quite a bit. I was screaming at the television mostly. Sam drinking from any demon was just sad, heartbreaking, messed up and kinda hot. Dean giving up on all this: very sad. Misha Collins' portrayal of Jimmy, Castiel's vessel was awesome. It was nice to see some backstory. I was happy to see Anna back to be honest. It would have been a bit better to see her give more information though. It hurt to see Castiel was cold towards Claire. She was a cute character. I really wanted to hear Sam explain to Dean why he was doing what he was doing. When Dean and Bobby locked Sam in the chamber, a part of me felt really bad for Sam. Heck, I feel bad for the brothers. Next week is going to be explosive.

It should be explosive and i, too, feel for Sam. Poor guy's just trying to to the right thing with what he has. I agree that Anna could have been put to better use but someone pointed out that the scene where she gets Sam and Dean to chase after Jimmy eearily paralleled Ruby's getting the boys to find Anna in the first place so maybe that was the point. She was awfully interested in whatever it was Cas might know.

And I feel you on the sad, heartbreaking and kinda hot. Somehow that last one seems to always apply, lol.

Say what you will, Sammy did save the little girl's mother.

That was a point I made in my review of this ep! Sam sucked up the demon blood because he needed it for the mojo to pull the demon out of Amelia without harming the host--Jimmy's wife. I guess the bible reading takes too long! But to have to appear to Dean and Castiel (in the little girl's body) with all that blood on his mouth was very unfortunate. He looked like a rugaru.

Dean DOES still care, with all his heart. He still loves his brother fiercely, and that's why he pretended not to care while driving him hell-bent-for-leather to Bobby's so they could lock him up, dry him out and save him. We may not see it happen until season 5, but trust me, when it comes to the Winchester brothers, LOVE WILL CONQUER ALL!

Love, Robin

Yeah, here's hoping. It just seems like Dean's checked out here. Like, he keeps talking about Sam's becoming a monster but Sam really hasn't stopped being Sam. He's become harder, it's true, and the powers gone to his head a bit, but he's not the thing that Dean is claiming he is. Dean's just making the claim but Sam's actions have yet to back that claim up. I'm interested in seeing how this pans out.
