Right, so, this started out as a comment on the Neville thread in hpwriterschoice, and then it sort of spiraled out of control and got so long I was sorta embarassed to post it (especially since the thread was over, like, a week ago). I actually agree with everything you said. I love both Neville and Draco, but you already know that. After this, I can't really see them together. They're too similar.

You know, Nell thinks of them as being like Jordan and Dite, which actaully makes sense to me on some levels. I dunno, it's like...they're very alike where it counts but in such different ways (I mean, have you ever really seen them compared) that they're not so alike it doesn't work. I MUST SHOW YOU THE MANIFESTO, NON-BELEVER!!

cool, i never think about Neville too much so this essay is great. Neville really does seem more of the Chosen One than Harry pertaining to the whole "love" thing. i can't wait to see what JKR does with him

But I can't fault you, because you understand the love that is Draco/Neville. And I have to admit that I'd never really thought about it that way before, but you're so right. I really wish I was more coherent right now, but it doesn't really matter, does it? Because you've pretty much said it all for me. *worships*

Anyways *totally nods* its why they work so well together as a couple, they are not glaring different when you strip away their front plus they balance each other out.
