it's very hard to parse together exactly what JKR wants you to think about any particular character because they're all so riddled with grey; the best you can say is 'he's on this side, she's on that' but even then, you have Snape fucking it up.

And I forgot that, they did have a moment in canon. And Blaise thinks she's hot, but then...everyone thinks Ginny's hot. And also, I dunno if he'd be thinking in terms of 'weeks, months, YEARS' at this stage in life....

Ah, but Blaise doesn't find everyone hot! Or maybe he is just hard to please with girls... Now I want to write Blaise dumping Ginny for Zacharias. I don't know why revenge-on-character fic has such a bad reputation.
