Although I've thought about it before, I think I've finally decided
I was looking around different band's websites and checking out all of the live photos. I think one of the things I want to do in life is be a professional photographer for concerts and things. There have been a number of times when I was like 13 when we had that KICK ASS camera and I took some really good live shots of some bands. Taking pictures is something I always want to do at shows anyway because I hate mental pictures. Some people hate REAL photographs and just snap, snap, snap those mental photos throughout the shows. I have a shitty memory when it comes to things like that, so I'm always kicking my own ass if I don't take a camera with me.
Plus, it was always awesome to see my mom with her press passes, in the PIT with the rest of the pro photographers, shooting away the whole time. I wanted to do that so badly. And I absolutely loved when I had the all-access passes to all of the summer shows when we lived in Erie. I took some cool photos then. I miss that sort of stuff. A lot.
I know I'm pretty horrible right now, but I think it's because I haven't even touched a real camera since before we moved to Pittsburgh. Our sweet one died almost right after we moved here and I was too busy with changing schools to really care. It's only been a month and a half since I started with this new one. I really hate it compared to our old one. It wasn't digital, of course, but it was amazing. Once I get a job and some real money, I'm going to find out exactly what kind it was and buy it again.
We'll just have to see how it works out, I guess.
Just as long as I'm doing something in life that keeps me majorly involved with music, I'll be a happy camper.. lyke whoa! ;)
