Sitting in my room in LA, drinking my father's red wine in a half pint glass. I walked to Coffee Junction tonight for hot chocolate, walking in an attempt to feel like I was back in Berkeley where there are trees and more people my age and streets half as wide. This is a memory-worthy entry. I dunno, it's sort of powerful in how it elicits memories and emotions that I associate with Los Angeles and home. Berkeley and LA are definitely different, with different people and lifestyles.

Three things:
*Thanks so much for saving my retainer from an early doom! Now I have many more years to spend (not) wearing it!
*Inn of the Seventh Ray hellz yes.
*The WACK! exhibit at the Geffen MOCA space was eh, but might be worth spending more time than we did in it (my dad was anxious to leave: "These feminists are so...angry!").

Hope you had an easy ride back, and I'm looking forward to hanging with you!
