One of my New Years Resolutions is to kick this career thing into high gear. That's going to mean less LJ-ing. In fact, I will probably only use LJ to make some wide distribution announcements and do some party/event planning

How does cutting down on intermittant social interaction lend to your career?

One might say....if one were inclined to do so...the OPPOSITE is true.

I believe there is a direct correlation with the amount of time I spend at work reading LJ and the lack of any promotions over the last four years.
