If any Seattle residents would like to reply with their impassioned platitudes for or against any candidates on the recently mailed out ballots, I'm all ears.
Okay, lots of people are saying "Not Nickels", and "we need change." I guess I'd like to know what change specifically we hope to enact?
My positives for Nickels are: low crime in the city, we've done well vs. other cities with regard to the recession, we finally have Light Rail, the city is reasonably clean, educated, and has good IT and biotech opportunities.
Negatives are: The snopokalapse debacle, and his alleged connection to developers over "neighborhoods", although with regards to the latter I'd say I really like what's happened around SLU.
Stan Lippman and Goodspaceguy need to campaign together.
I looked through the bios of the various candidates on the KC elections site and picked who I thought would do best based on past experience - basically like I'm hiring.

Anyhow, I know someone who works on the McGinn campaign, but that's about the extent of what I can offer. Not Nickels?
