Bars... Um hmm. Yea, I need to try to be social, but a noisy environment would be horrible for that with my condition. I could see taking classes as a possible outlet.
To be honest I don't do well in bars either. I'm hoping to find more quiet 'pub' settings perhaps. There just seems to be too little choice in places to try and meet people around here, as this city is very big on bars/getting hammered :/

You should see if you can make some money fixing computers. I was able to raise my rates to $80 per hour before people stopped asking me. (I really didn't want to spend any time fixing computers, can you tell?)
Have you joined Facebook? You can check for different groups in your city that might be meeting up, or even start one. Facebook can be good for that kind of thing.
I mostly only worry that people think I've run off and joined the circus or otherwise don't read, or even try to keep up. I do lurk quite a bit though

Life is too short to just disappear from everyone I think. There seems to be a lot of people that passed away suddenly in the last week, and its reminding me that that its really stupid to run and hide on people.
She is, along with all her minions including a new goblin rogue named Wipeout. :) Of course, I'm still only on a couple hours a night, and that may be less as the semester gets rolling, but I've decided to stick around this time. It's good to keep in touch with your muses and Archeology is mindless enough that I think about art projects and stuff. :)
