So, being super poor, I like to save money. I usually shop in the sales aisle before anything else. Lately I've been looking at sales sites online. Bought a dress from the15dollarstore online which was AWESOME. Looked just like Belle's dress from Beauty and the Beast ( Read more... )

OH MY GOD, YOU'VE BEEN CONVERTED. This is my mother's home page. ;) She's gotten one or two gift cards from amazon with it already, I believe.

You might already know it, but I follow poor_skills. Haven't checked it in a while but I've known it to have some good tips, and they have tags which is always super useful if you don't have the Hufflepuff finding skills.

If you find some good comms in your search definitely recommend!

Thanks Lisa! I will add that comm.

I'm excited about this site, mainly because I google things all the time and this doesn't require me putting in any effort whatsoever haha :) It's so cute that your mom uses it.

Dude, I'm trying to work on being more thrifty, as my household's fallen on hard times, and I'm really working to set a budget and whatnot. Stuff like this, provided it's legit and won't fill up my email with a bunch of junk, is totally appreciated.

On a somewhat related note, check out Buxfer.com if you're interested in setting a budget and keeping an eye on finances. You import bank statements, Paypal accounts, and can set budgets for things, view your spending in a pie chart, and have notifications sent to you if you go over your budget. It's really helpful to actually see this sort of thing in a simple visual form. It alone has made me a lot more aware of my spending habits.
