I'm heeeeeeere
Finally made it to TN yesterday after a cramped 16+hr drive (thanks Hon!) with 2 freaked out kitties. We made it though 5yrs together plus this move, I think we're cleared to be married now ;)

Yellow-throated Warbler
We found a dead yellow-throated warbler on the terrace today. I hope there isn't poison or the like about, there are 5 adolescent raccoons that come through here a lot, among cats, cardinals and other creatures. Hopefully it was something natural but still sad to see such a gorgeous bird belly-up. -

Anyone know of any NYC charities that pick up items? Clothing, electronics, etc? We're to damn far from, well, anywhere to be lugging this stuff. I think there's a Salvay on Union Turnpike somewhere's but if anyone has better/more options I'd love to here them! -

Pink Floyd query to my beloved music nerds
I inherited a really cool Pink Floyd poster from my bosslady today. I went to search for it online so I could show my Scotsman (so he won't open it since it's packed & ready to move) and I can not find it anywhere!
