I agree with all of the above and you forgot to mention the truly lame attempt at restricting testing, i.e. that the testing restriction is purely voluntary.

I bet the people at Forix are tearing their hair out! If next years points system was in place this year Salo would have scored 10 points instead of two. Does this mean he's suddenly five times as good because if someone mirrors his performance next year it will seem like that. Its ludicrous.

Apparantely they're not going to get rid of the 107% rule either. Not only will the slower teams have only one lap to try and get within the time limit but they'll have to do their one lap on a dirty track first thing in the session when the Ferraris can set their time right at the end when the track is fastest.
