But why is the rum gone?

Back from a little stint in Austin. I wish it could've lasted longer...but I have to go to work tomorrow. >:( Oh, and my drawing final. But it was still a nice little overnight trip. I managed to pick up some "new" CDs from El Cheapo Discs and Waterloo ( Read more... )

Ooooh, you little alcoholic you! Hee! Glad you made it back! I'm was just about to sign off, but I wanted to read about your trip first!

I can't believe they tried to cover "Daniel". Only Elton John can do that song, fuckers!

We'll have to try some rum and cokes together sometime. I've never had one worth having.

Talk to you soon!

I didn't get the Daniel thing, either. WHY BOTHER? And one of the other songs is a Bruce Springsteen.

Oh, the rum and coke was YUMMY. Just like a vanilla coke...only, you know...with alcohol. Hey...like MST3K: "Eh, the pilot must be having a rum and coke somewhere..." ;)

Some songs just can't be repeated. I mean, they might as well have done Bohemian Rhapsody or something. Same thing. *rolls eyes*

HAHAHAHA! Yeah, but I imagine vanilla rum is better than regular rum. I had some spiced rum once and it was horrible. Bleck.

Oh wow, I love that DVD. Do watch the tour documentary! It makes me laugh every time.

And Crocodiles is a good album - for a debut, anyway. My favourite Echo & The Bunnymen album would definitely have to be their second one though, Heaven Up Here. It's got songs like Over The Wall, All My Colours and Turquoise Days, which are just great. A little more emotion than Crocodiles. If you're interested, I could upload it for you. It's hard to find at record shops.

I'm excited about the DVD. I picked up the live album about a month ago and LOVE IT, so I figured I'd better invest in the DVD. Plus, any minidocumentary with Rog makes me laugh. Like Pompeii and the Wall commentary...

I figured Crocodiles would be a good place to start off, and then if I really liked that one I could work from there. Uploading isn't necessary...but if you have time? I still owe you a few albums. And I definitely have enough new music to last me a while.
