That was beatiful... a fitting tribute to a good friend. I'm actually crying here.

*sighs and hugs*

I have no idea what I'll do when my Poppy goes.

Thank you. *hugs back*

When the time comes, they let you know. And you take comfort in knowing that their pain is gone, and that they're happy.

*hugs you close*

He was a good cat, and you did right by him. I'm sure he knows that.

Thank you. :) And thanks for calling, you crazy ESPN girl. (I swear I heard cat tags jingle twice last night!)

As oddriddle said, that was a beautiful tribute to Chubbs. I cried while reading it as well. :( It's always so hard to let a pet go, especially one that has stuck with you from the beginning. At least he's not in pain anymore, and that's the main thing.

Thank you. :) It was very hard, but only while he was still around. It's amazing because today was such a beautiful day, and while I missed coming home from work and having him there to greet me, I was very happy because I knew that he was alright.

A toast! lovenotforme July 8 2006, 05:32:21 UTC
I propose a toast, to the cat named Chubbs. He was my little British buddy and he will be missed. A beautiful, loving, mellow, British cat he was. And that, he will always be.

Do I look like a cat to you? Am I jumping around all nimbly-bimbly like?! staur July 8 2006, 06:01:23 UTC
"Where's my bloody tun-ah?" ;)

Thank you, Ashley. I'm sure Chubbs would appreciate it.
