Well, I finally ordered myself a new computer off the Dell website. It's a pretty sweet system with all the extra stuff. I'm so glad to say goodbye to my parents slow 166MHZ! My computer is a 1.3GHZ, with 128MB, and 20 Gigs. It's got a 16x DVD Rom drive, an 8x CD-RW, 3D Card, Sub-woofer, Zip Drive, and a bunch of other cool stuff. I ordered it last ( Read more... )

Unless you do a lot of uploading, cable generally smokes DSL on download speeds.

I've gotten over 400k downloading files from here at Webster to my house on @Home.

I know. I would of had a cable modem a long time ago, but I live on the North side of Canby.

Tell Justin that you'd like to help "beta test" the new CPE's.. they'll probably let you have the DSL for free. But I dont know if that would be indefinite.
