There is an old saying that states that any man can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad. The gist of which is that any one with some fertile semen can create new life (fertile female assumed), but that a DAD is someone who actually gets involved in a positive way in the life of their children ( Read more... )

All I can say, is I can't think of anything better than being a Dad. Most times in fact, I wish I didn't have to work, and spend the time I'm now working interacting with my daughter. I'm glad I don't have to work long hours, that would just kill me emotionaly.

She just turned 5. I haven't taught her distilling yet, but on the list is swordplay and how to make chainmail. She's learned some of the rudaments of breadmaking and wine making though.

Our son is only 8 days old and The Beloved has already proven himself to be a fine Dad.

I sure chose to procreate with the right guy. :)
