Due to a long history of incapable wardening on this boat and too much spare time on my hands I declared myself the warden of a young man who just graduated. He seemed receptive to this, and between us we agreed that when I wished to see him I would send up a likeness of him onto the journals. Like the Bat Signal.

Only his name was Barney so he wanted it to be the Barnacle Signal, so we went with that.
