I am trying to find some conservative blogs to read. I don't want stupid people ones that will just make me mad but rather "what does the above-average, smart republican think about___?" The ones on TV just spit out talking points and really it seems any blog that i see linked or cited is liberal (go figure.) do any of you know of any. once i find ( Read more... )

a friend suggested andrew sullivan. i only know about his views on lgbt issues, not much about his general politics.

well, aren't you smart! when I posted this I thought you would have an idea. it is strange how blog world is so split in two. almost no cross-linking, etc. partly b/c the country is so split, they just see stuff differently why bother exchanging ideas I suppose.

Though I've never read it myself, I believe that The Weekly Standard is a well respected political journal inside the beltway that leans a bit right of center. They appear to have a blog as part of their site.
