Pure talent. Bono has the sexiest voice, without a doubt.
U2 has a way of lifting me up just so i can plummet all the way down knowing that i will never hit rock bottom.
everyone derives different meanings from songs; Kite tugs at my heartstrings so strongly I can really just sit here and cry a river.
Apparently U2 wrote this song in reference to his own parenting moment. Of taking his kids out kite-flying but it broke and they had to leave. It's about the unpredictability of life and how sometimes we just have to let go of things that means the most. However, Bono wrote this song shortly after his dad died and played it for the first time in the memory of his father at a concert in Slane Castle. He thought the meaning of the song was that you have to make the best of your time with your loved ones, like he wished he had with his father but he then realised that it was written more about his father. Not so much from him to his father but his father to him - of saying goodbye and apologising for wasting precious time over arguments and fights. To this day, Bono still believes that is the true meaning of the song.
Got this off the net.
Okay i'm exaggerating but I must add that attending a Bono concert is definitely something i must do before i die!!!
Time to loop it and pick myself up.
