apparently the whole thing regarding the appendectomy was a mixup of patient information...on the same day i had x-rays taken for an ankle injury, a girl with a similar name had an appendectomy...and even though we were at different facilities, i guess they're both one of the many branches of the main hospital in town, and the billing headquarters
