New Girl Walking~

Bundled up in a jacket, Hazumu looked around at the snow covered lawn. Briefly, she wondered if there was a greenhouse and then continued on her walk. Breathing in the crisp winter air, she reflected on

OOC: Ralph's a girl (long story), but she dresses like a guy and such. You know your char better than I do, but usually only very intelligent people or people with sharp eyes can see right through it and know that she's a girl. Other people usually first assume she's a guy. Not that she really cares either way... XD

Hands covered Hazumu's eyes. "Guess who?" sounded playfully from behind her. Then a moment of silence, followed by a quick retreat of the hands.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Ralph hastily apologized. "I thought you were someone else... Katelyn, that's my friend, she often talks to trees and such as well, so... I'm really sorry. And I must be really blind, you have much shorter hair than her..." Ralph turned her head a little to one side. "You're new around here, aren't you?"

((OOC: Actually, in the series Hazumu was from, Hazumu WAS a guy. So I'm going to have her notice that you're a girl, if that's okay. ^^"))

Hazumu was quite startled at first, but was glad to be able to talk to someone. "Oh, um... hello!" Blushing, she looked around. "Yeah, I'm new. I guess it's kind of obvious, huh?"

"But the gardens are super nice!" she exclaimed, stars in her eyes. "I can't wait till spring! It'll be so much fun to garden in a place like this! I'll be able to grow different types of plants compared to Japan!"

OOC: Actually, it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or girl (or have been a guy or girl XD;). Everyone can be fooled by it. She even managed to fool her friends in the army, including a lot of higher-ups, so... I don't mind you having Hazumu notice it, but I'd say that the reason "she was a guy before" is a bit flimsy in my opinion. XD; And Ralph looks very masculine. She's also one of the few who wears a boy's version of the uniform. (Now, if you let Hazumu use a bit of logic and put pieces together that a guy can't be on a girl's only school... that'd be a perfectly fine reason. =D) I'll go post the real comment in a seperate comment, because it kinda drowned in the explanation. ^^;

OOC: Oh, and in case you didn't know yet, Ralph's also 23 now, I believe. And yes, still a student. =P (A student again, I should say... she already finished normal high school a long time ago. XD)

"Ah, you're from Japan, huh?" A soft chuckle escaped from her lips. "You'll feel right at home here in that case. We have more students from Japan here. Even a few teachers. I'm not Japanese, of course. Hardly speak it, despite the attempts of Haruka. I'm not good in languages. But you should also really meet up with Katelyn. You two would have a lovely time gardening together."

Ralph gave the new girl a small smile to soften her words a bit. "I'm not of a gardener. I love being outside, but I'd prefer to run or do other things. Anyway," she continued, offering her hand to Hazumu, "I'm Ralph Ashton. Welcome to St. Catherine's."
