an open letter: being in newcastle reminds me of livejournal so ... here i am?

i'm in newcastle for TINA. the first time i have been to the festival and only because i don't live here anymore.
TINA is actually an amazing festival and i am completely inspired and finding great value in getting the arse out of sydney so i can

a) stop being a crooked cynic all the time
b) meet lots and lots of people who live very close to me in
