He could be. [ a pause. then, worriedly. ] I don't hear any water running... [ knock kn- ] The door's unlocked.
[There's that squeaky sound of a door being pushed open.] Giles? It's just us! We haven't heard from you in a---hey, Giles, you there?
Maybe he just went out. [ footsteps. there's a heavy dose of denial in Andrew's voice now. ] I-I thought he'd have more stuff. Maybe he's throwing stuff out?
Or maybe he...could he have moved someplace else and not told us? [More denial. It ain't just a river in Egypt.]
Yeah... [ a beat. they could leave now and go on assuming that, but... there's a squeak as Andrew opens one of the bed room door. ] Mr. Giles!
Andrew.....[Xander has spotted the lone box.] I've got a suddenly not-so-good feeling, here.
No, no, no, no. [ There's a frantic note in Andrew's voice. ] We just talked about this!
[Xander doesn't answer right away; he's too busy picking up the box, holding it, not really wanting to open it.] Talked about what?
Going home. We just talked about, um... [ staring at the box, trying to hold onto that train of thought. ] Finding a way to bring what we know back to help everybody... We were supp- we're going to have a meeting.
[Finally Xand opens the box.] Yeah. We're going to have a meeting. [He hands it to Andrew.]
Oh God... [ He spots a letter with his name. ] Oh God.
Maybe I should be the one to tell her. And Willow, too.
Yeah... um... [ andrew pulls himself together. ] I'll take half...
Wow...he left a lot. It's like he had a whole other life here that I didn't know about. Here's one for Rachel.....I'll send out a private message to them.
A good Watcher has connections everywhere. He... [ temptation. can't resist it. he opens his letter. there's a pause. ] called Tucker... [ he's touched.]
