Very excited about the VP pick - however, if my phone had rung at 3am and woken the house up to inform me of the VP pick, I would be voting Republican this November.

I was wondering how East Coast people felt about that whole thing. Seriously, a text message at 1am PST and what I assume was 4am EST??

I really think they were so anxious to jump on the whole "new technology/change" thing that they didn't think it through (so, what do we do if someone leaks the VP candidate's name at midnight PST?)....

Silly politicians trying to be cool. But, at least they're trying, right?
