When I saw the Pixies a few months back, they played a cover of "Head On" by The Jesus and Mary Chain, but I dont know how one might procure that, or whether it would even be an appropriate dancing song...
So i'm not any help, really.

in addition to covers you can also include some disco classics because there are some songs like Play That Funky Music that young people know and like too. Also, you can go on Kazaa and just do a search for covers and find a bunch of stuff.
