so last monday i buy an ipod. and i get all excited about it... "finally, i can put all 6 cds of keith jarrett's sun bear solo piano concerts in one place and listen to them all while i walk the dog!"but alas, my excitement is cut off at the knees by the realization that itunes needs windows 2000 or xp to function, thus my 98se os is rendered

my ipod was totally worth my $430 investment. even though for like $50 more now i could have had another 20 gigs. :/ i wish they'd like... announce their plans to release better ones at lowered prices. i feel sorta dicked over. but i still have tons of room because i haven't ripped and loaded even like half my stuff yet. but HOORAY IPOD.

yeah, i debated what size to get and settled on the 20gig, because i figured that anymore than that and my attention span would trend to zero. i'd never make it to the chorus of a song, otherwise.
