There is no good reason to think that tougher firearms restrictions would have stopped the Columbine massacre. Remember, they also used alot of pipe bombs and other home-made explosives. I'm sure if they hadn't been able to get guns, they would have come up with another creative way to kill alot of people.

I understand that we cannot completely prevent events like Columbine, but with past events that followed I can't believe that guns are so easily available.
