oh, the sacrifice!

had a chance to go to Fenway tonight. husband being a big baby (has a cold and running a fever) said it was "up to me". is that supposed to be a choice?

if it were me, i'd be shoving him out the door with a "have a good time, honey".

i mean, i arranged for a babysitter and all...

this sucks.

he doesn't get it.

i'm grouchy.

Keep the babysitter so the kid will be out of his hair, and go. No biggie.

good idea. i should have. but i had to give my answer last night and it ended up being a "no". i felt guilty. maybe i'm stupid when i give up my few selfish moments. especially since i keep hoping i'd get some recognition for the "sacrifice".

the art of marriage, right?

Right yes. Leaving the husband at home after creative differences, only to meet up with the best friend's awesome brother will make this SO MUCH BETTER.

Yeah, but nothing will ever change the fact that it's Colin...

Next time just say "see you when the game is over".
