“So you’ll let me play too?” Connor had left eager some way behind and was practically hyperventilating with excitement.
Nick’s “Yes. OK, fine.” sounded deceptively resigned. Stephen bit back a grin. He recognised that tone. If nothing else this should be interesting.

Connor looked around nervously. One by one his layers had been stripped away and now he only had his boxers left to lose. Stephen, Nick, Lester, Abby, Ryan and Claudia eyed him like the ruthless predators they so obviously were. Trapped, he put his hand out for another card. He had a very bad feeling about this.
