OK, so Connor hadn’t gone to Oxford - his school didn’t send people to Oxford - but that didn’t mean he was thick. And while he couldn’t specify his exact job description there was no reason that Special Projects should have provoked so many smirks.
“I’m your WAG,” complained Connor. No, that was wrong, he wasn’t a girl. “HAG? BAG? How would you describe me?”
Lester pulled him close, both amused and comforting. “My brilliant shag.”
