Starting August 15th there's going to be a six week long Golden Era of POP MUSIC.
It's gonna be hypnotic.
It all starts with Christina's release of Back to Basics. The name makes her sound really old,
but I really like Aint No Other Man because of the big black woman in the background.
The one who yells, "Do your thing, honey!"
You know the one.
One week later we get Paris. It'll be... interesting.
I like Stars Are Blind but don't even get me started on how stupid the lyrics are.
Next comes Jessica, giving us three weeks of blondes, with A Public Affair.
I like the song itself but I can't stand the music video.
Does the cover remind anyone of a mix of JLo's On the 6 and This is Me... Then?
Beyonce's next with B'Day. Everyone thinks the name is stupid (me included).
It gives me Deja Vu of 7th grade.
I'm a little worried though cause homegirl put it together in 2 weeks...
But whatever, Beyonce's got my trust.
Then comes Justin Timberlake with FutureSex/LoveSounds.
He says he's gonna bring SexyBack with it.
To wrap it all up Fugie's coming out with her solo debut, The Dutchess.
The single's London Bridge, whose lyrics are also really stupid.
But it's a weird mix of Missy Elliot and Gwen Stefani's marching band elements.
Technically thing's kind of end there... But only for a week. After that, The Killer's are gonna release Sam's Town and the Hannah Montana soundtrack comes out too. To be hoenstI'm probably most excited for that one, but my dream right now is that somehow Britney drop K-Fed and release an album that one empty week, making it eight consecutive weeks, but... we all know that's impossible. K-Fed's Playing with Fire doesn't have a release date though, but maybe it'll fill that week... but of course that would corrupt everything.
Y'all are probably too cool to care, but I'm really excited.
And the people on
projectrunway are the stupidest people ever.
PERIOD.
Am I right or am I right?
P.S. It's gonna be really funny tomorrow when no one wants to use myspace anymore since they're all being forced to go cold turkey tonight.
