[In the room right next to hers, Allen is breathing hard from a recent battle, fingers still locked around the Sword of Exorcism. There's a moment of complete disorientation as he looks wildly around the room, followed by cold realisation, and finally, the slow but unmistakable burn of anger. What he really wants to do is call up Libitina and yell a lot, probably while punching the wall. What he actually does is snatch up his PDA and scroll for distress calls―]

[―goddamn it all. The door to Rhode's room flies open seconds later. Allen barely pauses to turn her PDA off before he's kneeling at her side.]

Rhode!?

[She said something about coming to break him out of prison. What the hell happened?]

[Rhode doesn't respond. She's completely unconscious, a crumpled heap on the ground. Whatever had hit her certainly did a number on her -- the girl isn't giving off so much as a twitch.

She is still breathing, though.]

[She doesn't seem outwardly injured, so after feeling for a pulse, Allen decides it's probably safe to move her somewhere more comfortable. Carefully scooping her up in his arms, he crosses the room and sets her down as gently as he can on the mattress.]

Rhode. [Quieter now, but more insistent. Some part of him worries she's been caught in her dream world.] Can you hear me? It's Allen.

[Rhode feels limp in his arms, her muscles completely slackened. It's as if someone literally punched the life out of her. Instead of reacting to Allen placing her down on the mattress, Rhode's head lolls to the side towards Allen, eyes still closed.]

[Oh hell no. After seeing the video, Tyki's phasing through the floors until he reaches the one that her room is on. Not bothering to even opening the door, he phases through it and makes his way over to Rhode quickly.

He gently picks her up to put her on the bed. Now, it's just the matter of waiting for her to wake up. And while he does that, he's taking a cigarette out and lighting it.]

[She doesn't move for a good ten minutes, completely lifeless as Tyki watches over her. Soon, though, Rhode's fingers twitch. A couple of minutes more and she curls into a loose ball, arms wrapped around her waist.]

[Rhode stirs a little more at the touch before she pries her eyes open with reluctance. Once she sees that it's Tyki, she relaxes minutely.

Before Rhode bolts upwards, her frame trembling as she doubles over with a cough.]
